Carlos Zambrano Foundation, Inc. (doing business as Big Z Foundation) is an Illinois Non-Profit Corporation. Carlos Zambrano, of the Chicago Cubs, is the founder and President of Carlos Zambrano Foundation, Inc. The Foundation`s present and future activities will further Mr. Zambrano`s interest in helping underprivileged children and families in Chicago, Illinois. The Foundation will primarily support programs on education and health issues within targeted populations, including those in the local Hispanic communities. In addition to making grants to organizations involved in these issues, the Foundation will, according to the Board of Directors, conduct its own charitable activities. The Foundation plans to engage in a variety of fund-raising activities, such as charity dinners and events. The Foundation will distribute most, if not all, of its annual net revenues on an annual basis, specifically to other 501(C) (3) charitable organizations. The organizations will be chosen entirely by the discretion of the Board of Directors, based on criteria, which supports the Foundation`s mission and vision of hope, education, and financial support for needy children and their family.
